There is a silver lining to everything as they say as Turki Alalshikh and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez part company just for now.
Turki Alalshikh posted at length a short time ago on how he is moving on from Alvarez for now.
However, what most likely prompted that as per ESPN Mexico Alvarez is looking to fight again in Japan this coming December:
“@CANELOTEAM told me that they are not closed to the offers that Sheikh Turki makes, but if they beat Berlanga in September, as they hope, @Canelo could fight in Japan in December. The plan is to go beyond the American continent.”
That continues the good news for Japan, Asia and — Japanese boxing and sport’s new golden age.
That will get the word out to the wider world on Japan and Japan’s new great times in boxing bigger then ever.
