Everything comes to an end as they say and today August 11th 2024, and tonight, is likely the last time you’ll ever see boxing in the Olympics again.
This Olympics in Paris this year has been slammed as the worst Olympics ever from all over the world in 2024.
For many reasons.
Not least the shoddy scoring once again in boxing in the Olympics that Mick Conlan once again pointed out.
Boxing was on the ropes in the Olympics going back to then in Rio but now the final nail is surely in the coffin after these Olympics.
Boxing in the Olympics was regulated by the IBA (International Boxing Association) but that was taken over from the IOC this year.
Thomas Bach is the head of the IOC and likely will go down in history as the man who killed boxing in the Olympics.
What’s more, the lines have been blurred again in boxing with many pros competing in the Olympics again this year.
Professional boxing is where it is at anyway for the highest level of world championship boxing.
The Olympics was only amateur boxing anyway, it likely cannot be saved anymore.
Good riddance.
The whole woke and inclusive rubbish political agenda officially died in France at the Olympics this year as did the city of Paris.
