Next month Canelo and the UFC go up against one another on the same night which doesn’t happen that much in combat sports.
Usually big boxing pay per views and UFC pay per views respectfully don’t go the same night as it just doesn’t make sense for either typically.
Not the case next month on Sept 14th (Canelo vs Edgar Berlanga) however and Oscar De La Hoya is continuing his diminishing of Canelo and is now even urging people to watch the UFC rather than the Canelo boxing event next month:

De La Hoya and his girlfriend this week had a half naked video taken down from Instagram.
De La Hoya also saw boxing legend Sugar Shane Mosley’s (a former business partner) son, Shane Mosley Jr., depart from Golden Boy Promotions this week.
For balance, Golden Boy Promotions (headed and owned by De La Hoya) did make a new signing this week however in US prospect Jordan “The Patriot” Panthen 9-0 (8 KO).
