Mike Tyson seems to be in a very calm space but that controlled rage in training and in the ring is just beneath the surface.
Tyson is clearly taking things easy outside of training at the moment but soon he will need to get serious to avoid serious health concerns in the ring as a big underdog against Jake Paul.
Speaking to Jake Paul’s brother (with Paul’s father next to him in the podcast) Logan Paul’s on his podcast Tyson enthused:
“It’s the biggest fight ever. The biggest fight ever. Listen this is what this is all about. All these other fighters. This is all about jealousy. They wished they can do it. They can’t. They can’t do it. They are knocking it claiming this is ******** but they wish so bad they were in our positions. They wished so bad they can take care of their families the way we can. The way people yell our names. These are world champions. No one knows their names. You got to think. You got to count, McGregor and Floyd started it. They started this ****.”
No pulling punches there.
Mayweather vs McGregor was one of the all-time most watched boxing matches ever.
This Paul vs Tyson event however is not even pay per view and on Netflix so it may in fact be watched by a lot more people worldwide.
Netflix is a very global company and this is a very worldwide fight.
