Floyd Mayweather Reveals Toughest Mexican Fight He Was In

It is not someone you think either like Castillo or one of the great professional champions he fought in his career.

As it turns out it actually came in his amateur career.

Speaking to the PelucheEn ElEstuche podcast Mayweather said:

“There’s a lot of tough Mexican fighters. Not just as a professional but probably as an amateur (was toughest fight). USA vs Mexico not in Olympics actually in a dual meet. US vs Mexico in Las Vegas, I fought against Mexico. He was tough. Very, very tough.”

Interesting.

This weekend Mayweather takes on John Gotti III in Mexico city.
