New Mayweather Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer does his first event for Mayweather Promotions this weekend.
It is the Mayweather vs Gotti III exhibition in Mexico city that also has a number of real pro boxing matches on the card.
Speaking to reporters after the weigh-in new Mayweather Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer said:
“Mexico is the only country in the world who has its own style named after it. Mexican style. No other country has it. That tells you what Mexico is all about.”
That’s true.
In boxing you never actually hear of any entire country having a certain boxing fight style other than Mexico.
Always a fan favorite style that boxing fans watch in their droves over the years.
