Errol Spence Cousin Takes To Amateur Boxing

The next generation of Spences are already getting started in the sport at grass roots level.

As Spence would surely advise his young cousin in Spence’s type of words, staying in the lab is key — stay busy basically — a busy life is a happy life.

Team USA were definitely hard done by in scoring at the recent France Olympics in at least two fights (if not more).

That said, the quality of amateur fighters still being churned out in America is a bright light for the country in an otherwise now very bad and dark time unfortunately for the United States this year and ahead.

People often forget that yes America and Mexico have produced the most professional boxing world champions in history (UK 3rd, Japan 4th) in the top flight of the sport, America have also churned out a huge amount of amateur champions too.

Without grassroots boxing there is no top flight professional boxing world champions.

Even if boxing is likely to be booted from the next Olympics grassroots and amateur boxing will do fine and thrive still.
