Naoya Inoue Reacts To Defeating TJ Doheny

team inoue

Inoue brought a brutal end to the contest where opponent Doheny suffered back injury from the power of Inoue.

Inoue’s power is unquestionable but his defense and how he deals with southpaws in particular need to be addressed.

Speaking after the fight on X Inoue said of the win:

Translating to English via Google translate:

“Yesterday we were able to successfully defend all four titles! Thank you for your support! Please look forward to the next one! I’ll take a short break and then get back on track in December”

Good to hear he is back soon.

December is a great turnaround time.

Likely they will put him out again in December in Japan again and if he impresses — the US will be the fight after that (most likely).

Anything can happen in boxing though as regards pull outs, injuries, vacating of titles, fighters moving up in weight and more.
