Recently promoter Eddie Hearn has been trying to get Jaron “Boots” Ennis some fights but to little avail seemingly.
According to Hearn and others in boxing some are pricing themselves out of a fight with Ennis who carries huge risk for little reward to some fighters.
World champion Alycia Baumgardner got quite a bit of reaction to the below:

Ultimately Ennis is a big talent in the sport, no question.
He needs to be involved in bigger fights though for those outside of boxing to get to know who he is and when his fight are actually happening.
Promoter Hearn appears to have a bit of a job on his hands with Ennis in many regards in relation to the above but his quality as a fighter will surely shine through if he keeps winning impressively and developing as he is consistently.
Baumgardner returns to the ring later this month September 27th in a WBC world super-featherweight title fight against Delfine Persoon in the US.
