The price point is high but for Canelo fans often pay for it as he is the leading star in the sport.
That said, later this month for only $19.99 fans can see a world title IBF heavyweight championship match in a 96,000 sell out Wembley stadium between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
It will be interesting to see if some boxing fans hold off for the much lower price event.
This weekend shall reveal all but Alvarez commands a huge global audience that follows him wherever he goes.
