Garcia is currently on the side-lines following adverse findings in a drug test in the Devin Haney fight earlier in 2024.
A rematch with Haney or Gervonta Davis would both be big fights in time again.
However he is looking at a fight with Teofimo Lopez next up:
Between coaching his brother and other interests Garcia is hopefully keeping busy until then.
It was thought he might consider an exhibition bout in Japan before 2024 is out but not much has come of it recently.
If he were to do that you can’t imagine it would be received well in America with the Athletic Commissions where his current ban is in place.
That said, legally, an exhibition bout in another country outside of America is likely something he can do before 2025 should he wish.
