Early Canelo vs Berlanga PPV Buys Numbers Tracking Well

Early Canelo vs Berlanga PPV Buys Numbers Tracking Well

Many including Oscar De La Hoya thought Canelo vs Berlanga would do less than 100k buys but how wrong they were.

In the US the fight cost ninety dollars alone just to buy it in America.

Early numbers say the event in the US did at least 650,000 buys which is good considering no one knew who Berlanga was outside of hardcore boxing fans:

Those are very impressive numbers considering it was Amazon Prime’s first Canelo fight too.

Their promotion will get better as time goes on.

The power of Canelo is alive and well.

Maybe Gervonta “Tank” Davis is slightly bigger now than Canelo however in terms of star name in America specifically.
