Oscar De La Hoya has given his reaction to the recent Canelo Alvarez vs Edgar Berlanga fight.
He was vocal the fight would not do over 100,000 buys before hand which it smashed in the US with 650,000 at least alone (no one outside of boxing fans in America knew who Berlanga was either).
Here’s what he had to say on the fight:
Canelo has not had a knockout in some time but he’s been up at much bigger weights than his usual class lately, chasing greatness.
Alvarez is also 34, not 35, and this is very young these days for modern professional athletes with the advent of sports science and so on.
