Edgar Berlanga recently fought Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and has made some bold claims here about a venture up to heavyweight next up.
Heavyweights hit different. Essentially their punches are like getting slaps of a baseball bat.
That said, Edgar Berlanga wants the challenge saying on X:
“I would love to go up to heavyweight and fight Anthony Joshua just to test greatness. Nothing bad towards this. I’ll walk in the ring 210lbs.”
That seems like an extreme idea.
One that has gotten over one million views on X so far.
He then added on X:
“Matter fact I want to fight danieldubois **** it Puerto Rico vs the UK”
In all likelihood this most likely will not happen but never say never.

Berlanga recently had his first loss as a professional to Canelo Alvarez on points via unanimous decision.
