Magic of course is not real but world renowned entertainer and endurance mentally tough individual David Blaine is known by many people.
He has done stunts and endurance tests that would push anyone to the limit.
It turns out Mike Tyson is his hero and what Tyson said to him as a young kind changed the course of his life:
“Here’s what he said to me. I was sitting in his limo. I don’t know if you remember this Mike, I was a kid doing card tricks. He didn’t know me from a hole in the wall but he was just so gracious. And I told him I wanted to be a magician, I wanted to do this thing. And he was like — well let me tell you something. I wasn’t meant to be the heavyweight champion of the world.
I’m not tall enough. I didn’t have a big enough reach but I have nothing to lose. When you have nothing to lose you have everything to gain.”
Indeed, Tyson is a very unique man with above average mental and physical strength but more than anything a great ability to get it all together when it counts.
Tyson and Blaine met again recently at an event.
Tyson is one of life’s great thrivers and comeback experts but remains a huge underdog against Jake Paul November 15th in their professional heavyweight bout, nevertheless.
Maybe he will prove everyone wrong. Maybe he won’t. Maybe.
Either way, Tyson wins and is a winner in life in the public’s eyes.
