Unlike some we only mentioned that Canelo Alvarez was just looking at a fight in Japan later this year.
We mentioned that he was considering it but never said it was finalized.
Now sources close to Canelo in Mexico have confirmed that he is looking at a May return of next year:

No two fights in one year will be disappointing for many boxing fans however.
