Mike Tyson Promises Jake Paul Pain

Mike Tyson Promises Jake Paul Pain

Big underdog on November 15th Mike Tyson is in the middle of intense training for his upcoming professional heavyweight fight opponent Jake Paul.

Tyson is 58-years-old and is training very differently these days, and eating and using vitamins very differently.

Speaking at the latest press conference during the week Tyson said:

“Mike: Honestly, my training hasn’t changed much. It’s a fight, and I’m preparing for it just like always, but I’m training harder. It’s tough to explain, but I’m ready. My methods might be a little different now, but the focus is still the same—just being prepared to fight.

Interviewer: Okay, so let’s talk about that. We’ve seen your training videos, and you always bring intense preparation like no other. But how has it changed going up against a younger opponent? Has your physical training shifted at all?

Mike: Well, I get more massages now than I used to, that’s for sure. Being younger doesn’t necessarily mean being better. I’ve fought younger guys who were better than Jake, so I’m prepared. The main difference is that my body gets sorer than it did when I was younger, so I get about three massages a day. Other than that, I still train hard—just slower in some areas.”

He went on to continue to say later:

“Interviewer: Mike, you’ve always said boxing is 90% mental and 10% physical. How are you preparing mentally for this upcoming fight? Anything different this time around?

Mike: Boxing today is different because we have better tools for conditioning. I’m doing new treatments, like electric therapy, that help rejuvenate me. It gives me the energy I need, in addition to LFGO. I take one of their pouches before I spar, and it gives me a boost of energy. It’s a big improvement over other energy products out there.

Interviewer: Let’s talk more about your training. Your speed and power have always been key to your fighting style. What kind of conditioning are you focusing on now to maintain that explosiveness?

Mike: I do 10 rounds on the Assault bike, box six to seven rounds a day, and do intense body exercises. The difference now is that I train three times a day. After boxing training, I do strength and conditioning, and then I lift weights later in the evening. That’s my routine before bed.”

He later added:

“Interviewer: Mike, any final words for fans about the upcoming fight? What can people expect?

Mike: A lot of pain. That’s all I’m bringing.

Interviewer: Great to hear. Now, let’s open the floor for some questions.

Fan: Hi Mike, what kind of fight can Jake Paul expect from you? What’s your strategy going into this?

Mike: Constant pressure, in his face, all night.

Fan: You mentioned that cherry is your favorite LFGO flavor. Which one of your Mike Bites flavors would you pair with it?

Mike: Wow, Mike Bites is a bit strong for me. I like to keep it light, just a little nibble.

Fan: Thank you, champ! Go knock ‘em out.

Fan: Hey Mike, did you see Jake Paul’s body transformation videos? Do you think he’s taking his training seriously?

Mike: Oh, I think he’s taking it very seriously. His health depends on it. I’m not overlooking him at all.

Fan: What was your motivation to take this fight? You’ve already proven yourself as the greatest.

Mike: Honestly, I love the idea of being seen by 80,000 people live. That’s a big motivator.

Fan: Mike, how are you feeling going into this fight at 58 compared to your last professional fight?

Mike: Back then, I was stressed. There was too much going on—lawsuits, divorces—I never got to enjoy being a champion. Now, I’m more relaxed, and I’m just enjoying being me. I’ve got better life skills now.

Fan: People often talk about Jake Paul’s impact on boxing. Do you feel like you’re fighting for boxing when you step into the ring with him?

Mike: No, not at all. Boxing’s way bigger than me or Jake Paul. It’s what made us who we are. We’re never bigger than the sport itself.

Fan: Mike, what’s your daily nutrition routine, and what’s next for you after this fight?

Mike: I take a lot of vitamins—probably 30 pills a day. I used to laugh at older guys for doing that, but now I get it. It keeps me going. After this fight, the sky’s the limit.

Interviewer: Mike, any advice for young athletes about managing their money and future?

Mike: Managing money is an art. No matter where you come from, you’re not born knowing how to handle it. You’ve got to learn it. It’s a skill, and without it, you could lose everything.”

Very interesting as always from Tyson.

At the end of the day he remains a huge underdog due to his age and rightly so.

Credit to him for putting so much discipline and nutrition and relaxed mind state into this.

You would imagine he won’t switch on fight mode until actually the night of the fight itself, same for Paul, why waste mental energy.
