In a very unexpected fight Chris Eubank Jr. might have hit the lottery jackpot in boxing soon.
The Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez fight is still the biggest prize in boxing at the moment on par with the undisputed heavyweight title fight between Usyk vs Fury.
Both generate similar revenue, maybe Alvarez a bit more worldwide.
So this is big news for boxing and certainly Eubank Jr.:
Not confirmed but in the works.
Selling out Wembley Stadium is surely something left on the bucket list of Alvarez who is looking for new challenges.
If he could do that fight and a David Benavidez fight in 2025, surely that would be his career goals complete.
- Update: Alvarez coach Eddy Reynoso has since said they have no interest in fighting Chris Eubank Jr at this time.
