Lennox Lewis was once one of Tyson’s biggest enemies but later in life the two became friends.
Lewis was in attendance of Paul’s unanimous points win over Mike Tyson in Texas. Lewis had his wife and kids with him at the event.
Speaking to EsNews after the fight Lewis said:
“It was a good fight. Great event. And I’m glad that nobody got knocked out.”
Yeah, the start of the fight was interesting and Tyson landed some left hooks and jabs early on.
As for Paul, as soon as they put him in with a top tier in prime professional boxer near world title level it won’t be good.
He is improving however but the main thing was he pulled off a huge event for boxing to land the card overall on Netflix, a card that saw great action on the undercard and a huge success for the event overall on the platform, it should be noted.
Alas, boxing is booming and next year will be even bigger with Netflix and many other companies getting into boxing even more in many countries around the world.
