One of the world’s most well known media people and journalists Piers Morgan has weighed in on Paul vs Tyson.
Most thought Tyson would get flattened quickly given his age of 58 but he lasted all eight rounds with a 27-year-old Jake Paul.
Piers Morgan said of the points win for Paul over Tyson on Friday night:
“Prime @MikeTyson would have destroyed @jakepaul in 90 seconds. A 58yr-old Tyson went 8 rounds against a much fitter and very capable boxer half his age. Mock him all you like, but Mike’s got the heart of a lion, balls of steel, and will always be an absolute legend.”
Everyone has been expressing their thoughts on the fight but now Tyson can walk away from boxing with many other businesses and his faculties intact.
Plenty to look forward to for Tyson in the future.
As regards the fight, if Paul had fought Tyson in his prime it would not have lasted a minute at most.
The event itself did produce some great fights on the undercard too it should be noted which was worth the subscription fee for a month alone.
