The presser announcing Davis vs Lamont Roach went off script after with Shakur Stevenson’s name coming up a lot it should be said.
Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis is one of the best pound for pound fighters in boxing and one of the biggest stars in the sport.
Shakur Stevenson is on the way up in both regards too and naturally people want to see both of them fight.
Davis mentioned he thinks Stevenson has not done much in the sport at the Roach press conference to which Stevenson said on X:
“That’s all I could do gang laugh at this goofy ****”
Indeed it is a fight fans hope to see at some point.
Time will tell if it does or not, if it happens in 2025 it would be a match for the ages.
