The 2025 Boxing Hall of Fame lineup this year is a stellar one as always, such a difficult thing to get into let alone be considered for.
Usually you have to be dead or retired for a long time to even be considered.
Here is the full list that was inducted a short time ago in New York in the 2025 class per X here are the details of who’s who this year:
“The IBHOF Class of 2025 announced! @MannyPacquiao, @5XPAZ (Vinny Paz), Michael Nunn, @KikachavezOf (Yessica Kika Chavez), Anne Sophie Mathis, Mary Jo Sanders Kenny Bayless, Al Gavin, Harry Gibbs @CommishRandyG (Randy Gordon), Ross Greenburg, Rodrigo Valdez, Cathy Davis & Owen Swift to honored. More info here http://ibhof.com”
Great line up of past champions and non-participants.
Pacquiao the obvious choice on the fighter side but great to see Michael Nunn get in too, a former IBF middleweight champion who once knocked out the great Donald Curry in round 10 back in 1990.
He beat Iran Barkely on points too and shared the ring with James Toney losing his IBF 160 lbs. title to him by TKO in round 11 on May 10th 1991.
He would then go on to step up to 168 lbs. and won the WBA world title there years later.
