Kubrat Pulev turned back the clocks to make history again tonight in boxing in Sofia, Bulgaria with a big win that may set up a full title shot.
Bulgarian Pulev won a unanimous decision tonight over German Manuel Charr.
The scorecards read 117-111, 117-111 and 116-112 unanimous decision for winner Pulev.
The fact 43-year-old Pulev won the regular title means he may at some point have a shot at the winner of Usyk vs Tyson Fury’s rematch that takes place this month on December 21st.
It will depend what the WBA (World Boxing Association) do after that fight and so on but he’s back in contention out of nowhere now for some even bigger fights.
