A great night of boxing tonight saw a win for record books in a close fight for Richardson Hitchins.
New Yorker Hitchins was pushed the limit in a split decision win over Australian Liam Paro in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Many had the more experienced Paro picked before hand but people forget he had to travel across the entire planet from Australia, a much shorter trip for Hitchins.
The win saw Hitchins end Paro’s unbeaten run, and extended his own, as well as secure the IBF 140 lbs. ahead.
Big things ahead, Hitchins after the fight suggested he wants a fight with Teofimo Lopez.
Brooklyn has a new champion tonight.
Kudos.
