Cruiserweight World Champion Jai Opetaia To Get New Opponent

Jai Opetaia

Some fight change news has come over night for one of the world champions in the cruiserweight division in boxing.

That’s IBF champion Jai Opetaia of Australia.

Per Boxing Kingdom on X here is the following update on him:

“- Huseyin Cinkara has suffered a broken ankle and is out of his fight against Jai Opetaia on January 8th. Opetaia will still fight on the date and will find a new opponent.”

Hopefully the new opponent will be named soon.

Australian Opetaia is currently 26-0-20 KO in the sport at this time
