After the fight Edgar Berlanga said he thought Munguia messed up the bag (money fight next).

However former champion Caleb Plant disagrees and said on X to Berlanga:

Interesting, the above got quite a bit of reaction online already.

Both Plant and Berlanga, and indeed Munguia, have all shared the ring with Canelo Alvarez and all of have lost to him.
