Former world champion and now media pundit Carl Froch gives his thoughts on the big Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury rematch result.
Carl Froch thought that Usyk deserved to get the decision in the rematch:
“Bottom line is Oleksandr Usyk won the fight.”
He added:
“Whichever way you want to look at it, the right man won. Tyson came out, he had a really good go, he tried hard. Like I said in the build-up, Tyson doesn’t got the fitness or the engine anymore for 12 solid rounds. To beat Usyk you’ve got to be able to sustain the pace.”
Further mentioning:
“It was a close fight but you never could have said Tyson Fury won that fight.”
Froch was also candid on Usyk afterwards:
“I think Usyk is past his best to be honest. He’s two years older than Fury.”
