All time heavyweight boxing great and former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis reacts to the big Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2 fight in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to TNT after the fight Lewis said:
“I thought it was a good fight. I would have liked to see Tyson be a little bit more aggressive and go after Usyk more.”
He added:
“In terms of the winner, yes (thought Usyk won the fight).”
Lewis went on:
“I thought he could have done a bit more work. Usyk was hitting him to the body at times. Giving him free shots. Those were scoring shots. I guess that’s what the judges’ were looking at.”
On Usyk, Lewis said:
“He could retire if he wants. He could do whatever he wants you know. He’s the champion. I don’t know if there is going to be a rematch or not (with Dubois).”
On what next for Fury, Lewis only wants to see one fight next:
“He goes to London. The biggest fight in history. Maybe Anthony Joshua.”
