Fight organizer and professional sports adviser Turki Alalshikh gave a very brief but candid reaction to the big fight last night.
Speaking straight after the fight to the Stomping Ground he said of Usyk beating Tyson Fury again:
“Yes. Yeah, I think he (Usyk) win. I counted he had four rounds more. Tyson do everything. He do an amazing fight. But this is boxing. One winner and one loser. Next I want if Dubois win in February (against Joseph Parker) I want to see them again and I want to see Tyson maybe with Joshua. Let’s see what can happen.”
That’s right.
That is boxing, ultimately a winner and loser happens 99 per cent of the time but Fury’s stock will have actually went up again, in the ring and outside of it too.
The sport was also a great winner last night as well as Usyk in the ring.
A tremendous display of heavyweight prize fighting and a good card too it must be noted.
