Straight after beating Tyson Fury for a second time tonight Daniel Dubois was in the ring calling him out.
Speaking after the fight Usyk said speaking though his promoter and translator Alex said:
“Dubois has to fight Joseph Parker and this is a very tough fight for him. He must take care of that fight with Joseph Parker. So it is too early to mention him and Daniel’s name, in regards to Usyk.”
Dubois is the current IBF heavyweight champion and takes on former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker in February.
The heavyweight division is truly buzzing again which is great for the entire sport, and for all of sport as well.
The heavyweight champion of the world means something again in the global sports pantheon with the quality of fights and Usyk is the main man in the division now.
