Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren who promotes Fury looks back at the big fight last weekend.
Usyk won a unanimous points decision last weekend in Saudi Arabia in another great night for the sport of boxing overall.
Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren speaking to BoxNation said:
“I’ve watched it again. I still feel that Tyson won it. I think it was much closer than I thought it was the first time but I still thought he won it.”
He also added during the conversation at one point:
“I think he (Fury) won it. For me it was like by a couple of rounds. I’ve spoken to a couple of people who also thought Tyson won who have watched it back and have seen it different. And I’ve spoken to a couple of watched it who’ve called me, I don’t go soliciting what they say, what they have got to say about it, people who’ve called me, and people from America. Tom Hauser has said he felt that Tyson won.”
There you have it.
If a third fight happens down the road at some point you would have to think it would be a close fight again.
It’s just the way their styles gel — likely it will result in a close fight if they box a hundred times.
