More money than ever is being pumped into boxing by countries, governments and private businesses around the world.
Boxing has never been so popular and growing so much internationally as it is now, even DAZN have now completed the acquisition of Australian TV Network Foxtel with more boxing in Australia expected now because of it.
Speaking to Jai McAllister YouTube boxing promoter Eddie Hearn said of the news:
“It’ll take time to see the full effects of that acquisition. DAZN’s strategy is to be the global home of boxing, and starting the year with a show like this is a fantastic way to build momentum. Hopefully, this will lead to more shows in Australia.”
