Pound for pound boxing star Gervonta Davis gets into it with former world middleweight champion Billy Saunders in unusual circumstances.
This is certainly not the normal course of events in boxing, so to speak.
Davis who returns on March 1st said of Saunders on X:
“He wanna dm something crazy and his 10 yr old son have his shoes on the wrong feet and his son air max 95 fake..I know a wanna be when I see it”
Davis returns on March 1st against Lamont Roach in a big event once again by tech juggernaut Amazon Prime.
In a time that sees more and more major companies, the UFC and Dana White, big name MMA and UFC fighters, billionaires and new official State governments come into the sport of boxing in 2025 and beyond.
As for Saunders, he has not fought in some time but never say never.
If he came back it is not clear if it would be at middleweight.
Maybe super-middleweight.
Time will tell.
