One of the great fights of these times in boxing would of course be Gervonta Davis vs Shakur Stevenson.
Whether or not it happens this year remains to be seen.
Speaking to Fight Hub at the Ring Awards Stevenson said of ‘Tank’ talking about retiring at the end of the year:
“I mean if he want to retire with the career that he got, go ahead and do whatever you got to do. I disagree with it. I think it is soft but that is on him. I ain’t going to lie, I ain’t chasing people around. If he is willing to fight then I am ready to fight. I think it should happen. But I ain’t going to lie, I can’t sit here and chase you. He make it seem that I need him but I don’t need him.”
Interesting.
Whatever happens, boxing fans want to see this fight and both fighters would make a shed load of cash for it too.
