The super fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford is really gathering legs now and different points are now being looked at by both.
That is according to Mike Coppinger on X.
Coppinger reports that the fight is being looked at to take place at 168 lbs. in the super-middleweight division with no rehydration clause.
That, on its own, is a huge step up for natural welterweight ‘Bud’ Crawford.
A huge advantage for Canelo, that, to say the least.
If Crawford were to win that he would go down as one of the best boxers that ever lived, simple as that.
Coppinger also went on to say the fight is being looked at for Mexican Independence Day weekend this September at the moment.
