As the sport of boxing gets back to big time boxing finally this week the world’s attention today everywhere is on Donald Trump’s US President inauguration.
It will mark the beginning of Trump’s second term as President of the United States of America, despite multiple attempts on his life in recent times.
In some astonishing scenes currently unfolding in the US, fight star and one-time professional boxer Conor McGregor somehow has pulled out of his pocket a massive invite to the Trump inauguration and is meeting all the official heads of State governments around the world at the moment in Washington D.C. on his own — meeting members of the State Department, Department of Defense and meeting other governments from around the world (not just America) — despite not one single invite extended to even one single member of the Irish government later today — McGregor is the only person of note there today from the island Ireland in the world per:
How a one time professional boxer has managed to achieve all this today is frankly unheard of, literally, there is no precedent for it.
McGregor recently has been linked to boxing matches against Logan Paul and KSI but as of yet it has proved just talk.
Dana White of the UFC said he hopes to see McGregor back later this year in the UFC but McGregor still is adamant who will return to boxing at some point.
Upon balance, it is fair to say you will see McGregor in a boxing match again at some point, relatively soon.
To date McGregor’s sole professional boxing match came against all-time great Floyd Mayweather a few years back.
