Latest comments from the usually quiet David Morrell shows he means business against David Morrell in their fight soon.
The two fight shortly on February 1st in Las Vegas.
Speaking on the Gloves Are Off show ahead of the fight Benavidez said:
“I’m done with this talk. He shouldn’t have disrespected me. After this beating, he won’t forget me. I don’t think he’ll return to boxing after this. On February 1st, I’m going to dismantle David Morrell.”
That says pretty much everything about what he thinks about his opponent.
Morrell is a quality boxer and operator and will present unique challenges he has not seen before but what a fight ahead shortly.
