Current boxing star and rising young pound for pound star Devin Haney took issue with what the legendary actor said here below.
Stallone with his boxing gloves in hand said in a viral video how times are much easier for people today.
Haney responded on X to ‘Sly’:
“Dude don’t know a left hook from a fish hook.. & got the nerve to speak on times being easier in boxing like he wasn’t just an actor.. buddy them rocky movies wasn’t real”
He did following that up also with the following however:
“Sylvester Stallone is a legend.. & I have nothing but love for the whole rocky series.”
Obviously Stallone who stared in the ‘Rocky’ iconic movies in boxing has such a fan base of such massive proportions worldwide, the above second comment likely came from some minor back lash to the first one.
Haney returns to boxing soon against Jose Carlos Ramirez in May.
