The Jaron Ennis next fight has now been made official for ‘Boots’ who is set to defend his world title here.

That’s what he wants to do of course but his opponent will have much to say about that.

Per Ring Magazine on X:

“ANNOUNCED: Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis will meet in a Ring Magazine, IBF, and WBA welterweight world title unification fight on April 12th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.”

Lithuanian Eimantas Stanionis has never lost in 16 pro fights so far and has a good amateur pedigree, so not a pushover by any stretch.

He will have nothing to lose — which makes him dangerous.
