People may not like KSI’s new Misfits but there is a reason why heavyweight DAZN have bought into him, this was smart, and, big for boxing.
The promotion shows emerging professional boxing prospects, legit professional boxing, some women’s boxing, some exhibitions and some celebrity boxing in pro boxing format (sometimes).
Overall it is growing the sport hugely online — as online media continues to race past TV, radio and print in a huge growth time — boxing and professional sport is a big part of that.

“Misfits 20 broke Misfits’ all time record for the most concurrent viewership for a non-PPV show. [@MisfitsBoxing]”
That is big news for boxing, online media, media in general, new media, streaming, networks and broadcasters.
This trend is only growing faster all the time on a daily rate — coupled with the explosion in growth of AI at this time too — there is no stopping streaming — which is good for boxing at the end of the day.
