Promoter Eddie Hearn has gone off script completely here with what he says on ‘The Monster’ Inoue that has taken boxing fans back.
Inoue crippled his latest opponent this week in the ring and is quickly becoming an all-time great from Japan.
Hearn however is calling for Inoue to be removed from the pound for pound rankings due to his being perceived to be ducking his mandatory Murodjon Akhmadaliev per Ring Magazine on X.
Rubbish.
No one has heard, with respect, of the mandatory and Inoue is chasing big fights like Nakatani or even Gervonta Davis.
Inoue also fought TJ Doheny last year and is shown time and time again, that he steps in on late notice when opponent changes happen.
Surely there is no issue with him facing his mandatory.
