This young man from the UK has been ripping through everything in sight in the heavyweight division lately.
Moses Itauma is surely a name many will remember soon enough.
Speaking to Talk Sport earlier the UK’s Moses Itauma said was coy on him being called ‘The Takeover’ and ‘The Next Mike Tyson’:
“I don’t really pay attention to it. It’s nice to hear, but it doesn’t do me any favors. At the end of the day, I’m here to entertain for you guys. If you’re calling me that, then great—it’s your opinion. But I’ve still got a job to do, no matter what your opinion is. I know it’s a good opinion, but it doesn’t help me if I take that in.”
He is only 20-years-old at the minute but the above shows he has good people around him and a good mentality already.
Obviously he will need to be developed correctly but also stepped up in tough competition, even at this stage, as that is important that he not build a padded record and gets a taste of European and world level shortly.
