One reporter got more than he bargained for in a response from David Benavidez ahead of tonight’s boxing.
Benavidez has been clear he does not have any time for opponent David Morrell ahead of their fight tonight.
Speaking at the press conference via Fight Hype Benavidez said to one reporter:
“Didn’t you listen to the press conference? I told you I’m going to knock him out. I’m going to go in there, bro. I’m going to inflict as much damage as possible, and when you guys hear a knockout, don’t think I’m going to go in there just trying to look for big shots.”
Clearly not happy the reporter was not paying attention, nor listening to what he had said previously.
If there is a demolition merchant in the sport, it is Benavidez.
Sure, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and ‘The Monster’ Inoue are from that cloth too in today’s times, but Benavidez for pure demolition is a real run over merchant who just runs over people and steam rollers them.
