David Benavidez went 30-0 tonight beating David Morrell and showed new dimensions to his fight game.
Many think he is just a brawler and monster but clearly a clever, intelligent fighter and man too.
Speaking after winning tonight he said:
“I feel like when people fight me they don’t realize how good I am, they don’t realize I have a defence and that I have a jab, so they kind of mess themselves up like that.”
He added:
“I was able to showcase my defence as well, I won every round, so it was a land slide? So you can have a landslide with good fighters like that — that is is pretty good. So I’m happy with the performance.”
He didn’t win a land slide, though, he did win in the eyes of the vast majority of people however.
