29-year-old American Claressa Shields has made history in women’s boxing and is line for big things.
Beating Danielle Perkins saw Shields become the undisputed women’s heavyweight champion — the first one ever in women’s professional boxing history.
Speaking to reporters in a scrum after the fight via Fight Hype YouTube Shields said:
“I think I want to keep fighting and let it set in at the very end because I haven’t gotten all my endorsements and all my sponsorships yet. I have some, but it’s like I’m waiting to get that $20 million from Adidas or $30 million from Under Armour and Nike. I’m looking to get there, you know? I want to represent all these companies, so I have some work to do. But as far as in boxing goes, I’m just going to keep racking up the wins and racking up the belts and building my brand. That’s all I can really do.“
Shields surely is not too far away from the above.
Her recent movie ‘The Fire Inside’ was also a massive hit at the Box Office in America recently on the numbers it did.
Not to mention the reviews it did from the likes of Rotten Tomatoes and more.
