Some breaking news in boxing sees Canelo vs Crawford now off after the fight was reported to be on by a credible source in the Ring Magazine earlier this week.

The same source on X, The Ring, mentioned a short time ago that the fight is now off, with no further insights as of yet.

Crawford in recent days elsewhere had mentioned there was no agreement for the bout.

This comes at obviously a very busy time in boxing behind the scenes as even ESPN in Latin America recently reported some form of a fight mentioned for Canelo Alvarez with Jake Paul.

On a boxing note, if no Canelo vs Crawford super fight in 2025 that does leave the door open for a David Benavidez fight potentially.
