Times are changing not just for big time boxing and worldwide professional sport, as the West comes to an end of a long run.
The evil, garbage West for some time in countries in Europe specifically of Spain and France precisely, and others in other parts of the West, has been coming to a quick end because of non sensible policies and just in general, it has become a less beautiful place to go to, it is simply not an attractive investment anymore, Europe and the EU, it produces little of value or worth.
Europe is changing all the time now though as the great people of Germany in Europe’s biggest economy and most powerful country by far, the great nation and great country of Germany, are seeing a revolution throughout Germany at the moment in 2025 and are marching for a demand in freedom of speech for the X platform (which is now the biggest social media app and news platform on Earth for boxing and everything basically) as Elon Musk rapidly conquers Europe in this regard. The EU to survive must change much of its policy. The radical now finished and redundant woke far left garbage stuff didn’t work in Europe for twenty or thirty years, or more, and the once beautiful Europe has not become an attractive place to visit anymore, or invest in, for those around the world — that’s the truth.
Now, the sport of boxing and in professional sport has now seen a seismic shift in power transfer from West to East as the biggest star on Earth in boxing, and one of the biggest stars in worldwide professional sport, Canelo Alvarez, has decided to sign for the years ahead with the Riyadh season in the Middle East — Alvarez saying on X a short time ago to Saudi Arabia advisor Turki Alalshikh:
“Let’s go brother”
That is a big new alliance and super power not just in boxing.
The Riyadh Season isn’t just Saudi Arabia or famous new movie directors from America or the UK going there to work, or even all the new professional sports deals being done there in other sports there, it is much bigger and encompasses many other parts of the East as well.
It is changing the planet in many aspects and it is great to see Canelo and boxing playing such a part in it.

Good for boxing and at least Canelo will be in some huge, proper fights now.
