It appears according to some Canelo has a choice between Terence Crawford and Jake Paul but the latter is making big claims.
For now, as things stand, with everything that is going on in the wild world of boxing, the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford fight is off (for now).
It has emerged that a report from ESPN Latin America on Canelo vs Jake Paul talks of a boxing match are in fact accurate at this particular time.
That said, Jake Paul claims he deserves to earn more in the fight a short time ago on X:
“A-Side in every fight I’ve been in and that’s not changing for this one”
No way, look, if they are going to go ahead with this thing, which they likely are now at this point with Netflix and major people involved, just make it at 50/50.
After this, Terence Crawford will likely look at the Canelo Alvarez fight again but you have to remember, the weight difference between Alvarez and Crawford is crazy.
Crawford didn’t look great the time he boxed at 154 lbs either and he is a special fighter but it is a massive weight difference.
Yes, Jake Paul may outweigh Canelo by almost 40 lbs if their fight at 200 lbs goes ahead but that’s a totally different story, obviously.
Jake Paul is 11-1-7 KO with limited competition (Tommy Fury beating him so far) and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is 62-2-2-39 KO and an all-time future boxing great.
