Currently professional boxing in the US shown live on ESPN is done through Bob Arum’s Top Rank promotional stable of fighters.
That deal is up soon and ESPN are moving on most likely, to someone else in boxing most likely at some point.
Per the Ring Magazine on X Top Rank are looking at the following:
“ESPN’s partnership with Bob Arum’s Top Rank will end this summer, The Ring has confirmed, with their final show tentatively scheduled for July 26th. Top Rank reps have held talks with reps from Max and DAZN as they are believed to seek multiple streaming partners moving forward.”
Two good networks, DAZN continue to iron out bugs in their streaming of fights and live sporting events too, which was the main issue for many years with DAZN.
Time will tell where Top Rank and ESPN go in the future.
Dana White and Turki Alalshikh are forming a new boxing league similar to the UFC, later in 2025, ESPN likely in the US will be very interested in that in terms of online media, streaming and network rights and so on.
