Keyshawn Davis shook up the world to win the world lightweight title by beating a previously unbeaten Ukrainian at MSG, Shakur Stevenson reacts below.
A great night of boxing all round capped with the win by Davis top of the bill.
Speaking on X Shakur Stevenson said after the fight:
“WORLD CHAMP NOW I’m proud of gang @KeyshawnDavis8 n**** don’t understand what it took to get here!!”
Davis of course is a new rival around that weight for Stevenson and Gervonta Davis too.
What a time for the lighter weight divisions in boxing again as the new stars of the future continue to come through — in all divisions in boxing right up to heavyweight at the moment with Daniel Dubois recently winning the IBF heavyweight championship of the world too by knocking out Anthony Joshua.
